Yep....that's me folks. Always "helter skelter"....BTW if you haven't seen the movie Across the Universe yet, DO IT. .....See, what did I tell you, my mind does not focus properly.
I wanted to create this post today and as usual, once I started, I could not keep to one subject. I find it impossible to be a good little blogging girl and focus on one thing at a time. This happens in just about everything I do. Could there possibly be a solution? Sometimes it's kinda fun, but mostly I end up spending too much time getting nothing done because I'm trying to focus on too many things. How about you guys?
So, you may be asking yourself, what's with the books below?
I took one of those wrong turns that turn "right", the other day, trying to get home and low and behold, a new, vintage book/paper collectible "warehouse" opened.....and of course, I had to stop......stay focused.
I am fairly new to the altered book world. I haven't used vintage books as a starting point for a project. I usually start with a new sketch book. Needless to say, I absolutely fell in love with all sorts of old books.......here comes trouble.....stay focused.
Gorgeous covers. Embossed covers. Faded colors to inspire. Delicate pages. Titles I can use for projects I have in mind.
What do you think Judy? Wanna go?
Many people made little shrines with the rocks and assorted other natural objects. I'm still not sure why, but it made me happy.
Let's see, where was I?.......oh, who cares, sit down with me, have a drink and enjoy yourself doing whatever it is you do that makes you happy.
