BUTTERFLY OF THE UNIVERSE

It is with great sadness that I tell you of the passing of my dear mother. She died on Wednesday night in the arms of myself, my husband and daughter. With peace and dign
ity.

"The caterpillar dies so the butterfly could be born and yet, the caterpillar lives in the butterfly and they are but one. So when I die, it will be that I have been transformed from the caterpillar of the earth to the butterfly of the universe."

Karen it is such a huge thing to have your mother pass on, she is very blessed to have been surrounded and held by those who loved her as she made the transition. She also had the blessing to have lived a long life and from the looks of her with lots of spirit!

Karen I am so sorry about your mom's passing. She is now in Gods hands. It's very hard when a parent leaves us, it's almost as if we become orphans. My dad passed almost 2 years ago and he was 96 and lived a great life. I'm sure your mother with her years enjoyed life to the fullest and that's what we have to think about in times like these. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care.

My dear Karen,

Your darling mother is beautiful! My heart feels for your loss, my friend. These are wonderful pictures to cherish. And I still remember my most favorite-the black and white one Emily took of her grandmother and that you have framed in your house. It touched me deeply with all of the energy of Emily's love and your mother's presence.

She will always be with and in you! Mothers never leave. Mothers are present ALWAYS, even when they're not.

xoxo

Oh Karen, my heart aches for you. There is nothing like our mother. I lost mine in 2004 and my heart still aches. However, it is also filled with gratitude. How fortunate that you were with her. I send you loving hugs.

My very deepest sympathies. Such lovely photos. She was a beautiful young woman. And what a darling she looked like in the current one, with those sweet, laughing eyes. God bless. She so reminds me of my best friend's grandma.

Karen, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. You talked about her so fondly and with so much love. She must have been an inspiration to both you and Emily as I recall seeing her in your artwork. And how PROUD she must have been of YOU and your beautiful, creative family. Thinking of you...

Karen,
Since the first day I met you, I have been impressed with the pure love you felt for your mother. So many of us (I count myself in this number), find reason to sigh and grumble about our aged mothers, but not you. Not once. Not ever.

The butterfly of the universe. Yes. I love this.

And I'm thinking of you, sweet friend.

A beautiful tribute by one herself who is so beautiful.
You do your mother proud.
Life goes on, the wheel keeps turning. All that's changed is your mother's perspective. One day you two shall again share the same perspective, and all will be revealed.
We are light. Thank you for sharing yours with us. Karen much love to you from me during your time of great sorrow. Mother's are one of a kind. Never to be replaced.
She's safe in your heart.
